Abdominal Imaging/ Cardiothoracic Faculty Position

first_imgThe University of Maryland seeks a radiologist for a new facultyposition in the Section of Abdominal Imaging at the University ofMaryland Medical Center in Baltimore. The section covers allaspects of Abdominal imaging, including CT, PET/CT, MR,Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and image guided procedures, with facultysub-specialization where appropriate. The department has 3T and1.5T clinical and research MR scanners, newest generation dualsource/dual energy CT scanners, CT fluoroscopy interventionalsystems and Ultrasound equipment with 3D, fusion, elastography, andcontrast-enhanced sonography. A new clinical and research PET/MRprogram will commence operations in Fall 2018. The Abdominalsection participates in multiple multidisciplinaryconferences.The University Medical Center campus has 1000 beds and radiologyservices are also provided for the adjacent Baltimore VA MedicalCenter and remotely for several off-campus imaging facilities. TheUniversity offers very competitive salary and benefits, time foracademic pursuits, and funding for continuing medical education.Appointments to the School of Medicine will be made at an academiclevel appropriate for the candidate’s experience. Applicants mustbe ABR certified, meet the requirements for Maryland licensure andshould have both fellowship training and research experience inAbdominal imaging.
